Description
This ministry proclaims the Word of God for the assembly, making it understandable, inspirational and alive. Proclaimers also raise the community’s prayer to God by leading the Prayers of the Faithful. Time is devoted to preparing and reflecting on the readings in advance so they may be proclaimed with familiarity, reverence and love. Currently, our ministry is comprised of about 70 trained volunteers who regularly proclaim the Word of God during Mass. A training session is required and provided.
