Faith Feeds Food Pantry
Holy Family partners with the Faith Feeds Pantry in Palatine to provide food to underserved individuals in the Northwest Suburbs of Cook County, including Rolling Meadows, Palatine, Mount Prospect, and Arlington Heights.
As an agency of the Greater Chicago Food Depository, Faith Feeds provides healthy food choices through both the Pantry on Rand and the Pantry on Wheels, which serves apartment communities on a rotating basis and helps reach people with limited mobility.
How Holy Family helps
Food drives are typically held on the third weekend of every month, with occasional holiday adjustments. All Holy Family donations support the Pantry on Wheels.
Food items needed
- Canned fruit in juice or water: fruit cocktail, peaches, pineapple, mandarin oranges, apricots
- Canned tomato products
- Canned meats: chicken, tuna, spam, fish
- Jelly, jam, and preserves
- Pasta and cereal
Note: For the safety of our clients and volunteers, no glass containers, opened items, or expired items will be accepted.
