Encouragement Place is a small local gift store located in Hoffman Estates, passionate about making a difference through gifts! We offer our customers products with a purpose, excellent customer services, and an overall great experience! 3% of every purchase is donated to a foundation called, A Better Life For Kids, which supports orphaned children in Ghana, Africa. We also hand pick our vendors, expanding on our passion to help people get involved in making the world a better place by giving gifts and supporting those in need while doing it!
We are looking for candidates with:
– Retail experience (not required)
– Available Tuesday-Friday and weekends
– Available to work 20-29 Hours/Week
– Friendly/Outgoing
– Reliable transportation
– Comfortable interacting with customers and helping them make gift decisions
– 1-2 years of work experience
– Works well independently and with others
– Motivated/Positive
– Dependable
– Trustworthy
– Basic Computer Skills
– Observant
– 18 Years or Older
Tasks Would Include:
– Opening/Closing Duties
– Managing registers (closing down tills)
– Checking and Receiving Products
– Assisting management in various tasks and projects
– Standing for long periods of time (duration of shift)
