| CONGRATS TO OUR 2020 SCHOLARSHIP WINNERS At the 9am mass last Sunday, KOC Grand Knight Dean-o Dalaly awarded our Council’s two $1000 scholarships. At the same time, the new name, “The Neil McManus Memorial Scholarship”, was formally announced in the presence of Neil’s widow Julie and a number of other family members. Congrats to two well-deserving seniors in Holy Family’s Teen Ministry!! Abigail Rydberg and Richard Kanak Through her many Holy Family and school activities, Abigail has seen “that I love to help people” and that is leading her to pursue a career as a doctor. She’ll be headed to the University of Illinois. Rich states that Holy Family experiences have taught him “leadership, empathy, trust and the value of preparedness”…and helped him find purpose. He plans on majoring in Physics at the University of Minnesota on the premed track while also minoring in either business or sustainability. Congrats and best of luck to the winners! |
