We are excited to announce that on Tuesday, October 24, HFCA
became the first STEM Certified middle school program in Illinois.
HFCA earned this distinction by demonstrating adherence to the AdvancED STEM
Standards as reflected by our performance across 11 rigorous STEM Indicators.
The certification process provides an extensive evaluation and continuous improvement process, supported by research-based tools and resources. HFCA achieved high scores across the indicators which certified that students have been equipped and trained to be innovative, creative and systematic problem-solvers across disciplines.
