A priceless experience for middle school students!
One of the unique aspects of HFCA is our commitment to outdoor education. In addition to our nationally certified outdoor classroom, students in grades 5, 6, and 7 experience overnight trips totally void of electronics.
This week, our 7th grade students led by teachers, Mrs. Eileen Paparone, Mrs. Jeanne Olmstead and Mr. Brian Prus traveled to Camp Timber-lee to experience science, team building and nature in a completely unplugged environment.
States Mrs. Paparone, “Our overnight trips have so many benefits. Each year we see students challenging themselves personally while also understanding the importance of teamwork and encouraging others. These are valuable learning experiences that students cannot get in the classroom or on campus.”
