I’ve Pledged. Now What?
Thank you for your generosity to the Providing for Our Family’s Future capital campaign. Your faithful support carries on the legacy of generosity that our founding parishioners established. Donors to the capital campaign have a variety of options when considering pledge payments, including: check, credit card, and gifts of stock. Payments can be remitted on an annual, quarterly, or monthly basis. Please find summary below:
Checks: Please make all checks and securities payable to Holy Family Catholic Campaign.
Memo line: Providing for Our Family’s Future
Credit card or direct debit: Donors who wish to fulfill their pledge using a credit card or their bank account can set up a recurring payment on the Holy Family Catholic Community website by visiting www.holyfamilyparish.org/donate. You will be required to fill out an online form and details through a secure giving page.
Stock, securities or IRA: You may contribute to the campaign by way of stock and securities. Gifts of stock to the campaign can be a source of significant tax benefit to the donor by eliminating capital gains taxes. Any gift of stock will be sold as soon as it is received and the value of the gift will be determined at the time of transfer. If you are interested in making a stock gift, please contact Bernie Schaeffer, Director of Operations, at (847) 907-3420, or bschaeffer@holyfamilyparish.org. Also, if you are 70 and a half and over and are required to take distributions from your IRA, this could be another source of fulfilling your pledge and providing a tax advantage at the same time.
Matching gifts: If your company has a matching gift program, you may be able to enhance the impact of your gift by requesting a matching gift form from your company and including it with your pledge card.
All gifts to the Providing For Our Family’s Future campaign are tax deductible to the fullest extent provided by law. For legal and tax advice, donors are asked to contact their attorneys, accountants, or financial advisors.
It’s not too late to make a pledge to the Providing For Our Family’s Future campaign. There are three options available you can use to support the campaign:
- Mail in your pledge form
- Visit Debbie Lively-Weyers in the church office to fill out a pledge card
- Make your pledge directly online by visiting www.holyfamilyparish.org/donate
