Description
St Leonard’s is a residence program for people who have been released from jail or prison. This program allows them to get adjusted back into society. This is a selective program and the residents have to apply and be accepted before they can enter the St. Leonard’s program. To prepare, we discuss what we are going to do at St Leonard’s and make the FLAME group feel comfortable about the visit. The group plans, prepares and serves a meal for about 30 residents. Some residents share their stories of recovery with the group. A visit to St. Leonard’s House is a service requirement for students in FLAME II.
