Taking Holy Family to the World

The Internet Ministry is always looking for skilled people to help us in our quest to use the web for God's plan. Right now, we are especially in need of people who can write copy and have the "know how" to help Holy Family ministries put their information on our website in a manner that's easy to read and that is effective.

Our mission is to use the Internet as a tool to create an exciting, innovative means to evangelize the Word and works of Jesus Christ and the Catholic Faith. Working to support our faith community and its mission, we use state-of-the-art technologies to promote our spirit; our messages of hope, love, and social justice; our beliefs in small faith communities and open, friendly worship; and our many other ministries. We seek to use the best audio, visual and text-based methods, combined with skills in art and the expression of the Word, to set a standard for the Archdiocese of Chicago and contribute to the global Catholic Internet community. We also seek to support the Communications Ministry at large, and to create a preferred means of communication about all aspects of parish life to the entire Holy Family community.

If you feel you are being called to minister with us and you have skills necessary to contribute, we would love to have you join our ministering community. We currently use Dreamweaver and Contribute. We are always seeking those to work with us in the following areas:

• Writing
• Text Editing
• Creating Web pages
• Creating online forms and databases
• Writing Java
• Creating Graphics and Illustrations
• Touching up, Adjusting & Cropping Photographs
• Taking Photographs (with our digital camera or with film)
• Working with Video
• Working with Audio
• Being an Advisor or Visionary for our Site
