On Saturday and Sunday, July 23 and 24, Fr. Charles W. Dahm, O.P, Director of Domestic Violence Outreach for the Archdiocese of Chicago, will preach at all the Masses (except the 6pm) at Holy Family. Although largely unseen, domestic violence is rampant in the United States, including in our community. Calls about domestic violence are the most frequent received by local police in our community. On Monday, July 25, Fr. Dahm will meet at 7:00 pm in Break Out Room #1 with parishioners interested in learning more about domestic violence and/or helping our parish respond to the needs of victims in our community as sensitively and compassionately as we can.
