On October 2, Holy Family will open its PADS site for its sixteenth season as a Sunday evening shelter for people in the community facing homelessness. As a work of Mercy, “Welcome the Stranger”, Holy Family volunteers provide meals and a clean place to sleep to the less fortunate.
Sign-ups for food and shift positions will take place after Mass in the narthex on Sunday, October 30. If you have not completed an orientation, go to www.journeystheroadhome.org and click on Volunteer Opportunities to find the 2016-17 orientation schedule.
Online sign-ups are available for those who have completed the orientation.
You can also sign up for food donations at www.carecalendar.org using Holy Family’s calendar ID, 134413 and password 9236. Food donations are accepted throughout the season.
